In the book ‘Persuasion’ Captain Wentworth writes to Anne - ‘I can no longer listen in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me that I am not too late, that such precious feelings are gone forever.’
The main skein is variegated with speckles throughout and the minis are semi tonals designed to complement the main skein.
